Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, plus comic books

About a month ago, Reverend Peter Preble contacted the campaign and asked if I’d like to be a guest on his radio show, Faith in America. The interview just aired yesterday, and I am so proud to have been a part of this series.

Reverend Preble is a delightful and challenging interviewer. He’s interested in exploring the intersection of religion and politics, and this was easily one of the most productive hours I have spent since I started this campaign, because he got me thinking about so many things that I have not really thought about in a while. What it all means in the grand scheme of things. How Scott McCloud’s Understanding Comics influences the way I understand the world and the people in it. What I can give George Washington major props for and where I find him lacking.

I am so happy to be able to share this interview with you, and grateful to Reverend Preble for the opportunity. Listen to the interview in its entirety here:

Graphic includes a quote from the interview with Reverend Preble, which reads, “I want to make sure that everybody is safe, that everybody has enough food to eat, that everybody has access to healthcare, that everybody has access to clean water, that everybody has an opportunity to do whatever they want with their lives.”
